Port Esbjerg is Denmark’s leading offshore port, a hub for cargo transport in northern Europe and one of the world’s largest originating ports for wind power. As much as 1,500 MW offshore wind is shipped out of Port Esbjerg every year. Our annual cargo turnover is 4.3 million tonnes, and we have some 6,000 vessels calling per year. The port is home to more than 200 businesses, which employ more than 10,000 people.
