Port of Esbjerg – From Sea to Land and Perhaps Soon Air

Port Esbjerg
2025

The Port of Esbjerg is actively strengthening its role as a key European logistics hub. With investments of DKK 1.6 billion in infrastructure over the past two years, the port has become a pivotal player in both civilian and military supply chains. The port is working to connect sea, land and – perhaps soon – air, which could mean a future airport for military and commercial purposes.

With multimodal solutions, green transition initiatives and direct access to Northern Europe and Asia, the Port of Esbjerg is more than a harbour – it’s a logistics powerhouse setting new standards for transport and supply security.
